Gajah Mada retained his position as mahapatih (Prime Minister) under the new king and continued his military campaign by expanding eastward into Logajah, Gurun, Seram, Hutankadali, Sasak, Buton, Banggai, Kunir, Galiyan, Salayar, Sumba, Muar (Saparua), Solor, Bima, Wandan (Banda), Ambon, Timor, and Dompo.
It is found in south-east Asia, including northern India, Thailand, Laos, Assam, Burma, Vietnam, Tonkin, Hainan, Sumatra, Java, Lombok, Celebes, Amboina, Buru and Batjan.
He was chosen in 1977 as a member of the regional council of the PNV in Biscay (Bizkai Buru Batzar), a position that he occupied until 1980 under the Presidency of Carlos Garaikoetxea.
From an ethnographic point of view Kayeli are close to other indigenous people of Buru, such as Lisela and Buru.
