In 2011, German group The Baseballs released a rockabilly version of "Candy Shop", which reached number 69 on the Austrian singles chart.

Completed in 1892, it is named after Frank Dekum, a German immigrant who opened Portland's first candy shop.
The first track, "Candy Shop", was recorded as a demo track for the then-upcoming Tim Robbins film, Cradle Will Rock (though the song did not appear in the film).
