The Greek authors in the series can be recognized by a yellow cover on which Athena's Little Owl can be seen, the Latin ones by a red one where one finds a she-wolf reminiscent of the Capitoline Wolf.
Other symbols used by the Italian Fascists included the aquila, the Capitoline Wolf, and the SPQR motto, each related to Italy's ancient Roman cultural history, which the Fascists attempted to resurrect.
Between 1997 and 2010, Piața Romană featured a Capitoline Wolf statue, a symbol of Latinity (see also the Capitoline Wolf Statue in Cluj-Napoca).
