Alejandro Martín Kenig (born 31 January 1969 in Mar del Plata) is a retired Argentine footballer who played for a number of clubs both in Argentina and South America, including Club Atlético Platense, Talleres de Córdoba, Club Bolívar and Club Sport Emelec.
He also debuted in Copa Libertadores on 28 February against Emelec of Ecuador (also his first game at Beira-Rio) and scored once during the 3–0 thumping.
The club was found after an assembly of employees at the Empresa Eléctrica del Ecuador, an electric company in Guayaquil, decided to start an amateur sports league.

Several years after the creation of the Empresa Eléctrica del Ecuador sports club, its founder, George Lewis Capwell, decided that it was time for the club to have its own Baseball stadium, so in 1942 Guayaquil's Municipal authorities donated 4 city blocks for the construction of the first private sports stadium in Ecuador.
In 2003 Cabrol made his last run in the Argentine first division with Huracán before moving to Ecuador to join Emelec.

On July 2010 he was loaned with an option to buy to Ecuadorian giants Emelec where he currently is trying to make his way to the starting line up.
He currently plays for the Ecuadorian club Emelec and the Ecuadorian national team.
He was transferred on January 2010 on a one year loan with an option to buy to Emelec of Ecuador.

During his 20-year professional career Quiñónez played for Barcelona Sporting Club (his first and last club, in 2000), Brazil's Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama, Club Sport Emelec, União da Madeira in Portugal, Deportivo Pereira from Colombia and Sociedad Deportivo Quito.
