Abdul Malik Al-Jaber was a recipient of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum “Best Arab Manager Award for Excellence in Management” in 2001, as the leading business executive in Palestine.
Then, in January 2008, he was called up to the first team for the trip to Saudi Arabia to play Al-Hilal in Sami Al-Jaber's testimonial.
In this position, Sheikh Jaber was tasked with putting the new Kuwaiti dinar into circulation and establishing the Kuwaiti Currency Board, of which he was the chair.
After the liberation of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber became advisor to the office of the Amir, a position he held until 2001.
On 24 February 1991, MWSS 271 displaced its elements in support of offensive ground combat operations into Kuwait in the midst of heavy combat to establish a Forward Operating Base at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base and, eventually, Kuwait International Airport, becoming the only MWSS to take part in offensive combat operations in Kuwait during Desert Storm.

Formed in 2007, Scarlett Belle signed a recording contract with US record label Def Jam Recordings, and consisted of Jaber, Derry and Hayley Aitken.
In 2011, Al Jaber was selected to serve on the United Nations Secretary General’s high level group on sustainable energy for all.
