Faouze Barkati went on to produce many songs for Lucenzo most notably "Vem Dançar Kuduro" a big dance hit in France and the basis of the international hit "Danza Kuduro" by Don Omar & Lucenzo, where he was also credited.
Karri Koira rose to fame as a member of the group Vähäiset äänet and gained even wider audience in the summer of 2011 with Ruudolf on the single "Mammat riivaa", a Finnish remake of "Danza Kuduro" by Lucenzo and Don Omar.
The album garnered points in originality, making it stand out more than Daddy Yankee's Barrio Fino en Directo and Don Omar's King of Kings.
Following the success of the song, Don Omar released with Lucenzo a Spanish-language single "Danza Kuduro" that samples on a large part on "Vem Dançar Kuduro", but is a distinct song.
The new Don Omar version was also featured in the film Fast Five.
In addition to Barrio Fino, Luny Tunes also contributed productions to acclaimed albums by Don Omar (The Last Don, 2003) and Tego Calderón (El Abayarde, 2003), as well as albums by Eddie Dee (Los 12 Discípulos, 2004), Ivy Queen (Diva, 2004), Zion & Lennox (Motivando a la Yal, 2004), Nicky Jam (Vida Escante, 2004), and Trebol Clan (Los Bacatranes, 2004) — all of this within a two-year span.
