The 1994 Heisman Trophy presentation ceremony was held on December 10, 1994 at the Downtown Athletic Club in New York City.
It was most famous for its annual awarding of the Heisman Trophy in its building, given every year to the most outstanding college football player, and named after John Heisman, the club's first athletic director.
He was the first winner of the Downtown Athletic Club Trophy in 1935 (the following year the award was renamed the Heisman Trophy); the trophy is awarded annually to the nation's most outstanding college football player.
Heisman subsequently became the athletics director of the former Downtown Athletic Club in Manhattan, New York.
Lattner sent the Downtown Athletic Club a check for $300 along with newspaper coverage of the fire and received a replacement.
At season's end, Warrick was not invited to the award presentation at the Downtown Athletic Club, and finished sixth in the overall voting.
