De Droomfabriek (The Dream Factory) is a 2007 Dutch documentary produced and directed by Netty van Hoorn about the students at the Havo voor Muziek en Dans (High School for Music and Dance) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
In the documentary De Droomfabriek (the Dream Factory, 2006) Netty van Hoorn depicts the passion of the students and the teachers at the Havo voor Muziek en Dans (Academy for Music and Dance) in Rotterdam and the large and small dramas of their lives in a school that is unique in the Netherlands.
The series captures their excitement, frustrations, struggles, fears and tears as they compete with the world's best and try to navigate the travails of the entertainment industry in Los Angeles as they pursue their dreams of fame and fortune in Hollywood's dream factory.
