Christine Glanville

She became involved in the film industry in war service at Elstree Studios and studied art during her free time.

Rexim-Favor

The Rexim-Favor was used as a prop in George Lucas' 1977 film Star Wars, produced by 20th Century Fox and filmed in Elstree Studios in Great Britain.

The Stanley Hotel

Parts of the television mini-series version of The Shining were filmed there, whereas Stanley Kubrick's cinematic adaptation The Shining was filmed at another resort hotel, the Timberline Lodge in Oregon (besides Elstree Studios in England).

Victor Reinganum

In 1928 he joined Elstree Studios and was an art director there until 1929 when he became a freelance illustrator.


BBC Studios and Post Production
