Gordana Matković

In 2004 Gordana Matković received the "Konstantnin Obradović" award in the area of human rights promotion and in 2005 she won the annual Women in Business and Government award given by the Erste Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

João Cravinho

Shortly after, Cravinho resigned from the parliament and went to England where he had been appointed administrator in The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development by the Portuguese Government headed by socialist José Sócrates.


Kazakhstan–United Kingdom relations

President Nazarbayev, along with several Kazakh business leaders, met with Evans, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Queen Elizabeth II, Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown, Lord Mayor John Stuttard and Jean Lemierre, the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in London, England on 21 and 22 November 2006.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was the first financial institution to enter into an agreement to join the “Letter of Credit Support Project.” Since then, TBC has worked on trade finance transactions with various international financial institutions and commercial banks, and has raised TF facilities from BSTDB, ADB and IFC.
