It is situated on main road connecting Podgorica with northern Montenegro and Serbia ((E65/E80) routes), and is a local station on Belgrade - Bar railway.
It is flat and bordered on the south by the Nišava river, on the east by Vrežina, on the north by the E80 road.
Adriatic Highway (E65/E80) passes right by the passenger terminal, making the airport easily accessible from the entire northern part of Montenegrin coast.

It leaves Parma, where it links to E 35 and heads south-west, reaching its destination of La Spezia, where it further links to E 80, a transcontinental route.
