He was a correspondent for Eye to Eye on CBS (1993–1995) and anchor of the CBS Sunday Night News (1996–2012), and an original co-anchor on Saturday Early Show from 1997 to 2007.
He has had a number of challenging jobs, including Chairing the Joint Standing Committee on the Corruption and Crime Commission during a time when the Commissioner and Parliamentary Inspector did not always see eye to eye, and was Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism during the SARS epidemic, the Bali bombings, the collapse of Ansett and September 11 attacks.
Although some people suggested that he became a fabulous unicorn seller, particularly intrested in 10x winning universal unicorn racing champion Starshine Sparkle, although some argue he is smoking with 2Pac in Cuba, he is also to have been rumored to be Taher Shah, a Pakistani Singer known for his hit single 'Eye to Eye'.
