His work here is very similar to his score for My Name is Nobody, with an upbeat pop tune serving as the main theme, an adaptation of a classical song (in this case Für Elise) combined with the wailing from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly used for the stagecoach chase, and a sentimental, lyrical theme for the three protagonists.
Originally titled Für Sadie, because Hind was influenced by Beethoven's piece Für Elise, but the umlaut was later dropped to reflect Glasgow dialect, the story tells of Sadie, a housewife in the Parkhead district of Glasgow who rediscovers her childhood love for the piano as a means of escaping her middle-aged misery.
In 1981 Alice had won the San Remo song contest with another Battiato composition, "Per Elisa", which in turn both musically and lyrically was a paraphrase of Ludwig van Beethoven's bagatelle in A minor WoO 59, popularly known as "Für Elise".
The music is mostly arranged from Classical works such as Für Elise and Carmen with added or changed lyrics.
Ongley's first transcription for solo guitar was published in 1973 by J. Albert and Son, an interpretation of Ludwig van Beethoven's Für Elise.
She is best known as one of the supposed dedicatees of Beethoven's famous bagatelle, Für Elise, WoO 59.
