Gary – New Duluth

The Oliver Bridge across the Saint Louis River and McCuen Street (MN 39) together connect the neighborhood of Gary–New Duluth with the nearby village of Oliver, Wisconsin.

Both neighborhoods are historically linked to the once vast U.S. Steel plant of the Duluth Works which was once located outside of Gary and in between Morgan Park.


Bardon Peak

It is located inside the southwestern city limits of Duluth, near the Gary – New Duluth neighborhood and adjacent Midway Township; and the peak is located above the Morgan Park neighborhood.

Reid Harrison

He has written for television shows such as The PJs, George & Leo, Men Behaving Badly, Brother's Keeper, Gary & Mike, George of the Jungle, Pinky and the Brain, Duckman, Drawn Together, The Mullets, 3 South, and Tak and the Power of Juju.

W.A.K.O. European Championships 1996

Notable gold medalists included Gary "Smiler" Turner who would go on to win several regional tournaments in K-1, Roman Bugaj who would later turn to pro boxing (and also won silver at the same event in Light-Contact) and Natascha Ragosina who would become a legend in women's boxing.
