Here Moulon began his work documenting the historical record of the relationship between technology and digital forms of art, extending the historic work of Frank Popper, Jack Burnham and Gene Youngblood.
He was a reporter and film critic for the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner, reporter for KHJ-TV, arts commentator for KPFK, and from 1967 to 1970 he was associate editor and columnist for the Los Angeles Free Press, the first and largest of the underground newspapers of that era.

At the elite school's temporary campus of Villa Cabrini, in Burbank, California, they constructed and conducted various performance experiments, in collaboration with other artists and media visionaries of the time, including Nam June Paik, Allan Kaprow, Morton Subotnick, Gene Youngblood, Serge Tcherepnin, Tom McVeety, Will Jackson, Larry Lauderborn, Sharon Grace, Naut Humon, Z'EV, et al.
