Blurtonia was a Canadian indie rock group, formed in May 1999 to play live shows in support of the well-received self-released debut Adventures in the Kingdom of Blurtonia, co-produced by Daryl Smith whose credits include Sloan, Tricky Woo, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
Music was used from the popular Canadian post-rock band Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
More recently, Morningstar was one of the contributing artists for the National Parks Project, recording an EP of atmospheric music in Prince Edward Island National Park with Sophie Trudeau of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Chad Ross of The Deadly Snakes and Quest for Fire.
