Over the years Sense Of Purpose have supported a host of touring bands including: Agnostic Front (US), H20 (US), AFI(US), Cro-Mags (US), Terror (US), Ensign (US), No Fun at All (Sweden), Strife (US), Champion (US), Citizen Fish (UK), Agent Orange (US), Balance (NZ), Shank (Scotland), DSM (NZ), Shutdown (US), Good Clean Fun (US), Strike Anywhere (US), Dayglo Abortions (Can) and Vitamin X (Neth).
In 1982, the band was signed by Slash Records and at the behest of Bob Biggs, the band changed their name to "Bonnie Hayes with the Wild Combo" and released their first album entitled Good Clean Fun, a New Wave/rock offering.
The album featured two singles, ""Listen To The Band", b/w the non-LP song "Someday Man"; and "Good Clean Fun" b/w "Mommy And Daddy", which upon release in September 1969 reached #82 in USA, but failed to chart in the UK.
