He is the founder and director of Gothic Voices, an early music vocal ensemble, which has recorded 25 discs for Hyperion Records, many winning awards.
The group was formed in 1981 by scholar and musician Christopher Page.

The success of the venture was sealed with a critically acclaimed and hugely popular disc of music by Hildegard of Bingen directed by the medievalist Christopher Page and his group Gothic Voices.
