Boucan Carre has seen some massive changes in the last few years with a new primary school completed in 2005, and the clinic has grown into a full-on hospital which is supported by Paul Farmer's organization, Partners In Health (known as Zanmi Lasante in Haitian Creole) out of Boston, MA.
A great variety of music and spoken-word shows are broadcast daily in a multiplicity of languages, including English, French, Spanish, Korean, Hindi, and Haitian Creole.

In August 2010, following the 2010 Haiti earthquake and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, singer/songwriter and poet, Zachary Richard released an album featuring a hip-hop version of Rocky McKeon's song "Le grand gosier," with verses by Samian in French and Emrical in Haitian Creole.
Much of the programming is aimed at the areas many ethnic cultures, including shows broadcast in Haitian Creole, Greek, Indian and Arabic languages.
