Heinrich Jacoby (1889–1964), German musician and educator, who was an important influence to body psychotherapy
A great role in his researches played the collaboration with the colleague Elsa Gindler (1885–1961), whom he met in 1924 in Berlin.

The work of Heinrich Jacoby influenced body psychotherapy through the workshops that Charlotte Selver (1901–2003), student of Jacoby and Gindler, gave to major body psychotherapists at the Esalen Institute in the 1960s.
From 1928 to 1933 Marseille followed the workshops (Arbeitsgemeinschaft) of Heinrich Jacoby in Berlin; his address was Dernburgstr.
