Another theory that has gained attention due to the increasingly popular Animal Planet show “River Monsters” biologist Jeremy Wade determined that the monster may be no monster at all, but a white sturgeon which is indigenous to areas of Alaska.
Wade's interest in fishing began when he was a child living in East Anglia, on the banks of the Suffolk Stour.

He is also fluent in Portuguese, which he studied during the many years he spent fishing in Brazil.
