Syntonic Menagerie is an album of electronic music by Jon Appleton released in 1969 on Flying Dutchman Records, a record label owned and managed by classic producer Bob Thiele.
A proposed Dartmouth Media Institute, an offshoot of Dartmouth College, conceived by composer Jon Appleton (who was also the founder of New England Digital) and funded by some prominent corporations, was envisioned as the media anchor.
In addition to the stories, the author includes a brief account of how she came to write each one, and at the end is an interview with Jon Appleton in which she talks about the secrets of writing mysteries.
