Operating independently of a label, Ripp tours regularly and has shared the stage with Andy Grammer, Parachute, Ben Rector, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Fiction Family (Jon Foreman of Switchfoot, Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek), Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers, and Sara Bareilles among others.
The song was also covered by Mandy Moore and Jon Foreman on the A Walk to Remember soundtrack, by Hall & Oates on their 2003 album Do It for Love and live by Ronan Keating during his 2002 tour, Destination Everywhere.

On November 1, 2007, lowercase people records released its first song ever, "Rebuild", a song written by Switchfoot's Jon Foreman and Relient K's Matt Thiessen for their 2007 Appetite for Construction Tour.
