Jorge Loring exploited the concession of the line until it was integrated with other airlines to form a joint monopoly called CLASSA (Concesionaria de Líneas Aéreas Subvencionadas), which was replaced by LAPE in April 1932.
The Loring R-3 was a 1920s Spanish two-seat sesquiplane reconnaissance aircraft designed by Comandante (Major) D. Eduardo Barron and built by Dr. Jorge Loring's company — Talleres Loring.
A branch of the family were successful merchants in Spain and included an aviation pioneer Jorge Loring Martinez, and the Marquis de Casa Loring whose present-day incumbent is a 9th great granddaughter of Thomas Loring.
