Artaserse

Mozart's aria for soprano and orchestra "Conservati fedele" (K. 23, 1765) is set to the parting verses of Mandane (Artaserse's sister) at the end of the first scene.

Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin

His younger son, Emil Gottfried (1767–1792), and his daughter, Franziska (1769–1850), were friends of Mozart; Mozart wrote two songs for Gottfried to publish under Gottfried's name (K. 520 Als Luise … and K. 530 Das Traumbild) and gave piano lessons to Franziska.


Schlafe, mein Prinzchen, schlaf' ein

The words are by Friedrich Wilhelm Gotter and for many years the common view was that the melody was composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Schlafe, mein Prinzchen, es ruhn: K. 350 (Anh. 284f; Anh. C 8.48)).

Wilhelm Friedemann Bach

In Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's set of six Prelude and Fugues for string trio, K. 404a, contains five fugues transcribed from The Well-Tempered Clavier by Johann Sebastian Bach while the sixth fugue in F minor, is a transcription of one of the Eight Fugues (Falck 31) of Wilhelm Friedemann Bach.
