In 2012 some of the Producers and DJs from Kane FM participated in the London to Brighton Bike Ride, and through advertising on their own shows accumulated over £2000 in sponsorship for the British Heart Foundation.

In 2008, Oraa was chosen for a new style of "Reality Morning Show" at one of Miami's most popular Hispanic radio stations, Romance 106.7 FM.
The Hawaiian Island weekly top 36 charts were compiled from weekly tabulations of listener ballots sent into the station (Radio Free Hawaii, 102.7 FM).
The transmitting tower for William Paterson University's - WP 88.7 FM is also located in the borough.
Mike Baker (ex Beacon Radio 303, WABC Wolverhampton, Chiltern Radio, Supergold, 100.7 Heart FM, Saga 105.7 FM, Smooth Radio 105.7, Oak FM, Radio Veronica Holland, Radio Kaleidoscope, UBN, Swansea Sound, Lantern FM, Sunshine 855, Radio 210) - Mike has also been involved with Rado Caroline, was an launch engineer at Capital Radio London and was on morethan40.co.uk - sadly Mike passed away aged 65 on Monday, 23rd December 2013 RIP

This is one of the few examples of a Channel 6 station restoring their station audio legally after the June 2009 digital television transition; audio from Channel 6 stations was heard on 87.7 FM on most FM radios in television's analog age due to an anomalous quirk between the lower VHF TV and FM bands, a feature highly promoted by WITI on-air for commuters.
