Abu al-Hakim Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik al-Salihi al-Khwarizmi al-Khati, Al-Khati (flourished 1034), was a Muslim alchemist from the village of Kath in the Khwarezm region.

Among his enemies included the Khwarezm-shah Altun Tash, Hasanak (who later succeeded Ahmad as the vizier of the Empire) and the sister of Mahmud.
Improper Khorasan's boundaries extended to Kabulistan and Hazarajat in the east, Sistan and Baluchistan in the south, Transoxiana and Khwarezm in the north, and Damghan and Gorgan in the west.
In 242, the Roman emperor Gordian III set out against the Sasanians with “a huge army and great quantity of gold,” (according to a Sasanian rock relief) and wintered in Antioch, while Shapur was busy in subduing Khwarezm and Gilan.
