The band, having avoided the coffee (choosing liquor instead), mirroring Karen Black's role in Airport 1975, find themselves forced to land the plane.

It is also the band's second highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 at #19, as well as becoming their first Top 40 single in the USA, while being their highest charting on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart along with the 1996 hit "Big Me", reaching #13.

Have a Cigar

The first was used as b-side for the Learn to fly CD single, while the second one, featuring Brian May on lead guitar, first appeared on the Mission: Impossible II soundtrack, and later as an Amazon.com bonus track on their 2009 Greatest Hits album and in the 2011 limited-edition vinyl only release Medium Rare, released for Record Store Day.

Long Road to Ruin

The video features an appearance by actress Rashida Jones, and was directed by Jesse Peretz, who had previously collaborated with the band for "Big Me", "Learn to Fly", "The One", and "Low".
