Gediminas Valiuškis

In 1974 he, together with colleagues, was awarded the Lenin Prize in architecture for the design of Lazdynai, a residential area of Vilnius.

Constantin Scriabine

Constantin Scriabine (1878–1972) was a Soviet scientist in the field of Helminthology, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1939), academician of USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, Hero of Socialist Labor (1958), winner of Stalin Prize and Lenin Prize.

Lazdynai

Initially the authorities monitored the project with suspicion, but eventually it was accepted, and in 1974 the leading figures of the Lazdynai project (architects Vytautas Čekanauskas, Vytautas Brėdikis, Vytautas Balčiūnas, and Gediminas Valiuškis and engineers Algimantas Kleinotas and Vincentas Šileika) were awarded the Lenin Prize in architecture.

Mikhail Lavronsky

He gave him a role of prince in the Nutcracker, and later on Lavronsky appeared in such roles as Ferkhad in the Legend of Love and in Spartacus ballet for a role of which he even won Lenin Prize.

Natalya Sats

For her work, Sats received numerous awards, including USSR State Prize (1972), People's Artist of the USSR award (1975), Lenin Prize (1982), Hero of Socialist Labor medal (1983), and Lenin Komsomol Prize (1985).
