Aleksandar Markovic graduated conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst, Wien), in the class of Leopold Hager.
She has worked with many distinguished conductors, including Alberto Zedda, Christian Thielemann, Marcello Viotti, Kent Nagano, Christopher Hogwood, Leopold Hager, and Mikhail Jurowski.
With the Munich Philharmonic he was the narrator in the concert performance of Lortzing’s opera Tsar and Carpenter conducted by Leopold Hager and under maestro Marcello Viotti he recited Dante in Wolf Ferrari’s La vita nuova.
Madoyan performed with a number of the world's best symphony orchestras and conductors such as Richard Hickox, Frans Brüggen, Claudio Abbado, Arnold Katz, Dmitri Kitayenko, Valery Gergiev, Leopold Hager, Matthias Bamert, Richard Dufallo and Nikolai Alekseyev.
