Tscherne gave his debut on the opera stage in 2003 in Venice in a new production of Ariadne auf Naxos by the Teatro la Fenice.

For the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation he was the speaker in Honegger’s The Dance of the Dead under the musical direction of Ulf Schirmer.

With the Munich Philharmonic he was the narrator in the concert performance of Lortzing’s opera Tsar and Carpenter conducted by Leopold Hager and under maestro Marcello Viotti he recited Dante in Wolf Ferrari’s La vita nuova.
