She notably had two public reactions against Serbia and Greece politicians: to Serbia after the Serbian government removed a memorial to the Liberation Army of Preševo, Medveđa and Bujanovac in Preševo, an Albanian-inhabited region of Serbia.
The Liberation Army of Preševo, Medveđa and Bujanovac (Albanian: Ushtria Çlirimtare e Preshevës, Medvegjës dhe Bujanocit, UÇPMB) was a separatist militant group fighting for independence from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia for the three municipalities: Preševo, Bujanovac, and Medveđa, home to most of the ethnic Albanians of Central Serbia, adjacent to Kosovo.
Between 1999 and 2001, an ethnic Albanian guerilla organization, known as the "Liberation Army of Preševo, Medveđa and Bujanovac", operated in this region with a goal to secede these three municipalities from Yugoslavia and join them to Kosovo as a part of the Greater Albanian ideal.
