Faubourg Tremé: The Untold Story of Black New Orleans, is a documentary film directed by Dawn Logsdon and co-directed and written by Lolis Eric Elie.

The film follows Lolis Eric Elie and the renovation of his Treme home following hurricane Katrina.

Lolis Eric Elie is currently a staff writer on the HBO series, Tremé.
Elie is an alumnus of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) and a 1981 graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School.
For more than a decade, The Times-Picayune was also the newspaper home of Lolis Eric Elie who wrote a thrice weekly metro column.
