3 unusual facts about Major Accident

Major Accident

Major Accident were originally formed in late 1977 in Darlington, though they didn't reach the recording studio until the early 1980s when they recorded an unreleased version of Massacred Melodies (which was later re-recorded to become their first LP) and the single War Boots.

Other leading 1980s Clockwork punk bands include The Adicts (whose version had more of a fun, circus clown emphasis), Die Toten Hosen (who released the themed album Ein kleines bisschen Horrorschau) and Blitz (who wore some of the dress later in their career).

As with the film's protagonist, an appreciation of Ludwig van Beethoven's music was also present, with the composer's 9th Symphony played with guitar, bass and drums for The Glorious 9th and The March, but with little evidence of any further interest in classical music shown from the band.
