The album Wonder No. 8 went gold and spawned five top ten singles: "Won't Take It Lying Down", "Never Let You Down", "Love of a Lifetime", "End of the Line" and "Finally Found".

Initially, the band was made up of the trio Rebecca Onslow (born 3 January 1975, Swansea in Wales), Melissa Graham (born 10 October 1975, Coventry in England), who was playing in a popular Irish band called Calvary in 1996, and Mariama Goodman (born 25 December 1977, Lambeth in London, England).
Three singles were lifted from the original version with fouding member Heavenli Abdi ("Finally Found", "End of the Line" and "Love of a Lifetime") and two more from the re-released version with new member Mariama Goodman ("Never Let You Down" and "Won't Take It Lying Down").
