Marius Jacob (Alexandre Jacob, 1879–1954), French anarchist illegalist
In 1903, the station witnessed the arrest of three leaders of the bande à Jacob (Jacob's band), a gang of anarchists (Marius Jacob, Pélissard and Félix Bour).
On April 19, 1900, he escaped from the asylum in Aix-en-Provence with the assistance of a male nurse and took refuge in Sète.
