He has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including The Melbourne International Arts Festival, Australia, Nottdance, UK, Display Gallery in Prague, Maccarone Inc. in New York City, Swiss Institute - Contemporary Art in New York City, Elizabeth Leach Gallery Portland, Oregon, Whatcom Art Museum, Bellingham, Washington, and Yellowstone Art Museum, Billings, Montana.
Burarrwanga performed at a number of major music festivals, including WOMADelaide, the Melbourne International Arts Festival, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the indigenous music events Stompen Ground in Broome and the Garma Festival in Gove.
Melbourne Festival also premiered the universally critically acclaimed productions from The Black Arm Band, murundak in 2006, Hidden Republic in 2008 and dirtsong in 2009.
