Max Franken is the drummer of Minimal Compact, a rock band that achieved success in Europe in the 1980s.
With this release Minimal Compact had become a "real band" with the addition of the native Amsterdammer Max Franken on drums.

On this album the "classic" 5-person line up became complete with the addition of guitarist/vocalist Rami Fortis a long time Minimal cohort from Tel Aviv who was arguably Israel's most innovative post-punk musician with his solo debut Plonter (knots).
Minimal Compact remain notable as the first (mainly) Israeli band to have gained considerable success outside of the country.

Vincent had to replace Berry Sakharof (of Minimal Compact) while the tour of their successful album, Deadly Weapons (that was out by Crammed), after Berry was arrest for 8 months in Israel in charge of smuggling cocaine.
Sakharof and fellow former Minimal Compact guitarist Rami Fortis began an extended period of collaboration, eventually returning to Israel and producing many songs.
