5 unusual facts about Mohamed Hamaki

Recently, Hosny turned to art since he has worked with Amr Diab and Mohamed Hamaki in composing songs in their music albums, and most recently he has played a role (Fu'ad Hareedy) in the Egyptian series "Sharbat Looz" which has been premiered in the holy month of Ramadan (July 2012).

After that, it was reported that he broke up with audio producer Tarek Madkour and started working on his own without him and with his same producer Nassif Kauzman the owner of DeltaSound because Madkour has been always busy working on songs for other famous singers.

The song "Wahda Wahda" (One By One), which was included in the album and was the soundtrack song of the movie "Ga'alatny Mogreman", was shot featuring the movie star Ahmed Helmy and aired on TV as soon as the album was released.

For this album, Hamaki worked mainly with his friend Hatem Abdel-Aziz, or "Tooma"Tooma as he used to be called, who replaced Madkour's leading role in Hamaki's work under the umbrella of DeltaSound.

Hamaky's first album "Khallena N'eesh" (Let us Live) in 2003 featured 10 songs, all arranged by the famous arranger Tarek Madkour.

Betfakkar Fi Eih was the most selling album in the Arab world (Middle East and North Africa) for the year 2008, even though there were huge competitors at that same year including Nawal Al Zoghbi, Elissa, Ragheb Alama, Tamer Hosny, Samira Said, Marwan Khoury, Myriam Fares, Haifa Wehbe, Mohamed Hamaki, Amal Hijazi, all of whom released comeback albums in the same year.
