Sugar and jaggery (Hindi: गुड़) production are important industries in the Muzaffarnagar district.
The four brothers were born in Muzaffarnagar town in state of western Uttar Pradesh, India, to Pandit Ramanand, son of Pandit Munshiram, in the family of Hindi-Urdu poet and Sanskrit translator Pandit Jyoti Prasad.
He chose the North-Western Provinces and served from 1873 to 1876 as a district officer in the small towns of Bijnor, Fatehpur, and Muzaffarnagar.
Abdul Karim Khan was born in Kairana village in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh into a musical family which traced its roots to musician brothers Ghulam Ali and Ghulam Maula.
It is planned to stretch from Noida to Haridwar through Muzaffarnagar and Roorkee, in India.
