After his unheard claims as governor of New Castile (Peru) following the death of his brother, Gonzalo Pizarro pressed claims to be recognized as the ruler of the land he and his brothers had conquered.
Pezuela returned to Spain in 1825, where he was captain general of New Castile.

November 1534 by the Spanish conquistador, Diego de Almagro, who founded the first Spanish settlement in Moche Valley, naming it Trujillo of New Castile after the home city of Francisco Pizarro Trujillo of Extremadura.
