He plays scrum half for the Premiership club, after moving from Northampton Saints at the end of the 2011/2012 Season.

It started in October 2008 and ended with the final at the Twickenham Stoop in London on 22 May 2009, in which Northampton Saints defeated Bourgoin 15–3.
In 2012 Calum Clark of Northampton Saints was suspended for 32 weeks after being found guilty of deliberately breaking the arm of Hawkins in the 2012 LV cup final.
He played over 70 games for the Saints, including the quarter-final and semi-final of Northampton Saints' 2006-07 Heineken Cup run which saw them beat Biarritz Olympique in the Quarter-Final in San Sebastian before losing the Semi-Final to previous winners London Wasps at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
He scored his first Northampton Saints try against Sale Sharks after some excellent work by Jamie Elliott to make the score 12-0 in a game that finished 33-14 to Northampton.
