In his early career he got noticed immediately and was transferred in the capital of his region, Oltenia at Electroputere Craiova.

Oltenia

Tudor initially gathered his Pandurs in Padeș and relied on a grid of fortified monasteries such as Tismana and Strehaia.

However, many rulers, including the Oltenian-born Michael the Brave, fought against the Ottomans, giving Wallachia brief periods of independence.

Romanian verbs

The simple perfect has been replaced by the compound perfect in most of the Romanian varieties; it is commonly used in the Oltenian vernacular (graiul oltenesc) to denote recent actions that still have an impact on the present situation: Mâncai (I have eaten).

Lion recalls, on the one hand, the old insignia of the Roman legions, and on the other hand, that once Severin belonged to the Banat of Oltenia.

Colegiul Național Carol I, have been, and still are, the recognized educational paths for the inhabitants of Oltenia--Dolj towards university education; often many alumni of these two best high schools were admitted through very competitive entrance examinations to either the University of Bucharest or the local University of Craiova, with the latter being less than two miles from the buildings of the two high schools.

Horezu ceramics

Horezu ceramics is a unique type of Romanian pottery that is traditionally produced by hand around the town of Horezu in northern Oltenia (Vâlcea County), close to the famous Horezu Monastery.

In the South side along the Jiu River with its two branches West Jiu and East Jiu, there is a large depression, and an accessible route towards Southern Romania - Oltenia.

This version is mostly found in Oltenia, were three Iele are considered the daughters of Alexander the Great, called Catrina, Zalina and Marina.

In October, after a further unsuccessful rebellion of the Oltenian nobility led by Craioveşti pretender to the throne Drăghici Gogoaşă, who was subsequently executed in Constantinople, Vlad ended Craioveşti's line of succession to the Banat of Craiova.
