The Philharmonics, nicknamed the Phils, were regularly featured on ABC's nationally broadcast television show, Ozark Jubilee, from 1955 to 1960 and provided background vocals for many of the country music stars on the program.

From 1949–56 she was the featured singer on ABC-TV's Stop the Music and appeared on such television programs as The Bert Parks Show, The Red Buttons Show and Ozark Jubilee.
In 1957, Lindsay joined ABC-TV's Ozark Jubilee, taking over the ten-piece Ozark Jubilee Band.
She settled in Corpus Christi and performed locally until the fall of 1955, when the redhead was offered a regular role on ABC-TV’s Ozark Jubilee in Springfield, Missouri and signed a recording contract with ABC-Paramount.
