Pádraig Pearse's GAA

In 2013 St Kerrill's Gaelic Football Club, which had been formed in 1990 and also representing the Ballymacward and Gurteen areas, was absorbed by Pádraig Pearse's GAA.


1978–79 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship

St. Finbarr's were the defending champions, however, they did not qualify for the championship.

1984–85 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship

The championship was won by St. Martin's of Kilkenny, who beat Castlegar of Galway by 1–13 to 1–10 in a replay of the final.

Ardscoil Éanna

It was established in 1939 by James J. O’Byrne, who had been interned in Frongoch in Wales for his role in the Easter Rising in 1916, and Margaret Pearse, sister of Pádraig Mac Piarais who had established Scoil Éanna in Ranelagh in 1908.
