In January 2009, the company launched an advertising campaign created by VCCP with characters designed, and adverts directed, by Darren Walsh at Passion Pictures.
Award-winning producer John Battsek runs the film department at Passion Pictures, which has produced a number of acclaimed films over the last decade.
After working on a series treatment together they collaborated with Passion Pictures to make the series.
The department's first film One Day in September won an Academy Award in 2000 and they have since produced upwards of 30 high profile films, including the 2013 BAFTA and Oscar™ winning Searching for Sugar Man.
