Over the next several years, Dilián starred in a number of important films with such major stars as Arturo de Córdova and Pedro Infante, and played the leading female role in Luis Buñuel's Abismos de pasión (1954).
In 1951 she played Rosa Suárez, viuda de Ortiz (the widow of Ortiz) in the film Islas Marías, starring Pedro Infante.
