Pedro Sanchez Falconete

In 1644, on the foundations of the medieval humanitarian Hospital de la Caridad, Seville, a new church was erected to plans of Falconete, altered in the long, slow course of construction by Leonardo de Figueroa.


Seville Cathedral

Designed by Pedro Sanchez Falconete in the last third of the 17th century, it is framed by Corinthian columns with a sculpture on top representing King Ferdinand III of Castile next to the Saints Isidore, Leander, Justa and Rufina.
