RAF Lyneham

A parade attended by the Princess Royal was held on 31 May 2011, to mark the departure of Nos. 24, 30 and 47 Squadrons from RAF Lyneham.

On 31 May 2011, a parade was held, attended by the Princess Royal, to mark the departure of the squadrons.

It was announced in July 2011 by the then-Secretary of State for Defence, Dr Liam Fox, that Lyneham would become the new site of the Defence Technical Training Change Programme centre.
