Prototypes of the game were tested at arcades, but the final arcade release was canceled (although a rom image of the prototype was eventually dumped and works in MAME) and the game was later released for the PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and PC.
The Sega Smash Pack ROM Loader is a front-end loader program released by the warez group Echelon, allowing a user to load their own ROMs into the Sega Genesis emulator built into Sega's Sega Smash Pack Volume 1 game for the Dreamcast.
As of July 2012, Zophar's Domain no longer provides commercial ROMs and ISOs; they only provide public domain ROMs now.
